Understanding the Epson L3210 Resetter – What It Is and Why You Need It

Introduction

If you own an Epson EcoTank L3210 printer, you've likely enjoyed its cost-effective printing and reliable performance. However, after extended use, you may encounter a frustrating error message: "Service Required: A printer's ink pad is at the end of its service life. Please contact Epson Support." This is where the Epson L3210 resetter becomes essential.

What Is the Epson L3210 Resetter?

The Epson L3210 resetter is a software utility designed to reset the internal waste ink pad counter of your printer. This isn't a physical tool—it's a program that communicates with your printer's firmware to clear the error and restore functionality.

There are two main types of resetters available:

WIC Reset Utility – The most popular and widely-used official tool

Adjustment Program (AdjProg) – A cracked third-party application that performs similar functions

Why Does This Error Occur?

Your L3210 has an internal waste ink pad that collects excess ink during cleaning cycles and printing. The printer tracks how much ink this pad has absorbed through a software counter. When the counter reaches a predetermined limit (regardless of whether the actual pad is physically full), the printer stops working to prevent potential ink overflow.

Important: The error is preventative—the actual ink pad may not be physically saturated yet. The resetter simply tells the printer, "I've checked and replaced the pad, reset the counter."

When Do You Need a Resetter?

You'll need the resetter when you see these warning signs:

1. Red light blinking continuously on your printer

2. Error message about the ink pad's service life ending

3. Printer refusing to print despite having plenty of ink

4.0Computer showing "Service Required" notifications

Is It Safe to Use?

Yes, when used correctly. The resetter doesn't modify your printer's core functionality—it only resets the waste ink counter. However, you should eventually check or replace the physical waste ink pad to prevent actual overflow, which could damage your printer or surroundings.

Conclusion

The Epson L3210 resetter is a valuable tool that can save you from unnecessary service center visits and extend your printer's lifespan. Understanding what it does and why it's needed is the first step toward resolving one of the most common issues EcoTank users face.

PC automatically shutdown during Windows start up

My co-worker called me up and told me that his pc shutdown automatically during
windows start up. Sounds like its a hardware problem. I turn on again the computer
and it totally won't start. I open  up the case and do visual inspection on the computer.
I turn it on again and I heard strange sound coming from its power supply unit. Looks
like the power supply is not working properly.

Then I removed the power supply and take it apart. I saw one capacitor that have leaked.
I decided to replace the power supply  with the new one since there is no available
capacitor on my stock. Then I put back the new power supply into the case. Then I turn
on the computer and Windows start normally.

Hope this article solve your computer problem too.

0x0000000F4 Error

I am installing Windows XP operating system on a hard disk,
that use IDE connector cable. I started to install operating system
and it runs smoothly. But on the process of copying files, the monitor
turns into blue screen. It display the 0x0000000F4 Error. I search
in the internet what causes the problem. I check my hard disk and
notice that there is no jumper that sets the hard disk on master state.

I get a jumper and put it on the jumper settings that makes it master.
I started again the installation of operating system and now it works
smoothly.I finished to install operating system without error. It means
that if the hard disk is not set to master, Blue Screen with 0x0000000F4
 Error will appear.

Things to remember in installing Operating System.
1. Make sure that the IDE cable or Sata cable is firmly connected
    from hard disk into motherboard.
2. Make sure that the hard disk is set to master. Check the jumper
settings if it on master settings.

Note: IDE type hard disk need jumper to set as master while
Sata type hard disk does not need jumper, it automatically set as
          master or slave.

0x8004210B Outlook 2003 error

This is the error message appear when my co-worker send
email message on Outlook 2003.

0x8004210B error

It occurs so many time in my co-workers computer. But
there is a very simple solution to solve the problem.

Close and open the Outlook 2003. Yes, as simple as that.
This is the always solution I made to fix the problem.
0x8004210B error occures when Outlook 2003 failed to
connect to the email server. Closing and opening the Outlook
2003 will refresh the application to work properly.

If this doesn't solve your problem, let us discuss it.

Outlook 2003 hangs up when replying

My co-worker computer hangs up every time she reply an email
in Outlook 2003. This is my first time to encounter this kind of
problem in Outlook 2003. I close and open the Outlook 2003 but
the problem still exist. I restart the computer, open Outlook 2003
and reply to email. Outlook 2003 hangs up again.

This is the only one way I know to fix the problem, reinstall the
Outlook 2003. To make sure it will fix the problem, I uninstall
first the Microsoft Office  2003 and install it again. Reinstalling
the Microsoft Office 2003 will not affect the existing settings
of Outlook 2003. After I reinstall the Microsoft Office 2003,
I reply to an email and it works properly now. It does not hangs
up. I observe this computer for several days and it does not hang
up.

Computer Won't Start up

My co-worker called me up and told me that her computer won't turn on.
The computer was located on canteen area. I turned on the computer but
nothing happen. The fan of power supply unit is not spinning, there is no led
light and there is no beep sound.

This is what I did. I open up the case of system unit and saw lots of dust and
spider webs in it. I blows up the dust using my canned compressed air. I remove
the memory and clean its contact using eraser. I put back the memory and its
cover. I turned on the computer and now the computer starts up.

I recommend to always clean your system unit to avoid this kind of problem.
Always use canned compressed air instead of brush. Hope this can help to
solve your computer problem.

Windows 7 Tips and Tricks

Here are some Tips and Tricks for Windows 7.

The Shortcuts
Windows key + left or right arrow button, which snaps the window to the left
or right, so you can see two open windows equally — perfect for multitasking.

Pin those apps
In Windows 7, you can pin any application, website, file or folder you use a lot,
so you can easily click to open it — regardless of what program you might be in.
That is, if you use the calculator a lot, simply right mouse click on the app and
choose "Pin to Taskbar" and move it wherever you like. This is much faster than
clicking on the Start button, selecting All Programs, then Accessories and finally
Calculator. For files, such as a Word or PDF document, simply drag to the taskbar
and let go. If you have a lot of pins on your taskbar, you can press the Windows key
(beside Alt) and a number (e.g. 1 or 2) and the corresponding app will launch from
your taskbar.

Extending the trial version
This is one of my favorites. If you're using Windows or Microsoft Office and you'd
like to extend the activation period to the maximum 120 days instead of the usual
30-day period, it's possible if you use Windows Vista and Windows 7 and you're
the administrator of the PC. Simply click on the Start button and in the search
window, type in cmd and you'll see the Command Prompt at the top of the page
. Don't press Enter yet — instead, right-mouse click on the shortcut and select Run
as Administrator. Now, after the Command Prompt loads up, type this: slmgr.vbs
-rearm and the hit Enter and reboot. That's it.

Uppercase and Lowercase
Highlight the words.Hold down the Shift button on the keyboard and tap F3.
Doing so will immediately change the case from lower to upper (or vice-versa).
Tap a third time to change the highlighted text to Title case, Where The First Letter
Of Every Word Is Capitalized. This little-known SHIFT + F3 shortcut will save you
time — and frustration — and works in Outlook, Word and other Microsoft programs.

Shake it up
Ever glance at your computer monitor and see a cluttered mess of open windows,
such as a browser, media player, IM window and word processor? A quick way
to close it all and focus on one application is to click and hold your mouse on top
of an open pane and give your mouse a shake. Doing this will minimize all your open
windows, except for the one you're in. Give your wrist a shake again and they all
reappear. Windows calls this "Aero Shake" and it can be a fast way to get rid of the
clutter in a snap. Give it a shot. If your version of Windows doesn't have it, you can
download it for free here.

Batch rename
Photo takers should get to know the "batch rename" feature in Windows
Explorer. Instead of all your images having arbitrary names like IMG_0339.jpg
or DSC01121.jpg, you can highlight all your photos in a folder, right mouse-click
and select Rename; now type in something relevant to the photos, like Spring
Break 2012. And hit Enter. Now, all of those files will be renamed with a number
at the end, such as Spring Break 2012 (1).jpg, plus you can quickly see what's
inside the photo file by changing from "list" view to "large icons." This batch
rename tip can also be used for documents and other media.

Encrypt it
If you share your Windows computer with someone and have a folder or files
you want to password-protect, there's an easy way to do it with a built-in
encryption tool. First select the folder or file you wish to encrypt, right-click
on it and choose Properties. Now click the Advanced button and add a
check beside "Encrypt contents to secure data" option. Click Apply and then
Ok. To access this file you'll type in your Windows password used to log into
your account. If your version of Windows doesn't offer this feature, there's
always the free TrueCrypt software.

Get a boost

If you own Windows Vista or Windows 7, a little-known feature called
ReadyBoost can give your PC a boost — without having to add more
RAM (system memory). Instead, ReadyBoost lets you use a USB flash
drive or SD memory card -- which you might already have in your desk
drawer -- to improve performance without having to install purchased memory
. The flash memory you connect externally serves as an additional memory
cache -- meaning the computer can access data quicker on this than on the
hard drive. You can choose to allocate part of a USB drive's memory to
speed up performance and use the remainder to store files. More information
 on ReadyBoost is here.

Search
It might be an obvious one but be sure to use the search window to find
what you're looking for — be it a program or file. Simply click the Start
button and you'll see a universal search window at the bottom of the pop-
up window. Start typing a few letters and Windows will try to guess what
you're looking for by showing you matching apps or files near the top of the
window (such as typing C and U, and immediately seeing Cute FTP
Professional as a selectable option). This simplifies the search process that
used to take a while on older versions of Windows.

Outlook 2003 won't print e-mail messages

Problem
My co-worker called me up and told me that she can print email messages in Outlook 2003 last week but now she could not print anymore. I check the printer and I can print through test print. I can also print in Microsoft Word and Excel. I also tried to print from Internet explorer, but I does not print. I check the Internet explorer version and found out that it is in version 6. If I could not print in Internet explorer it means I could not print the email messages in Outlook 2003 because the email messages was in HTML format. Here is what I did to fix this problem.

Solution
1. Uninstall the Internet Explorer from the computer.
2. Download Internet Explorer 7 or latest version.
3. Install the Internet explorer latest version.

After installation, I print email messages from Outlook 2003 and it now works. This is how I solve the problem.

If you have other way to solve this problem, you can comment below.

PC takes long time to start up

Scenario:
Someone called me up from production office and told me that
his computer takes 20 to 30 minutes to start up. Sometimes he
need to unplug the power cord in the outlet and plug it in.I take
his computer and bring it on my room. I open up the computer
and visually inspect the motherboard, cpu fan and power supply fan.

Problem:
I notice that the fan of power supply is not working properly. If the
fan is not working properly, the power supply unit will not also function
properly and it indicates that the power supply is faulty.

Solution:
This is the solution I made. I replace the power supply unit with the
new one. After I replace the power supply unit, I turn on the the
computer and it is now start up normally. I also tried to open up
the power supply unit and I notice one of its capacitor is partially
blown. This is the cause why power supply unit won't work properly
to give enough power to the computer.

Lots of people got problem in their computer regarding on its turning on. Some reason why computer won't turn on is very easy to fix and easy to know. Now we will discuss the 5 basic reasons why computer won't turning on.

Here are some reasons why computer won't turn on.

1. Power failure. Make sure that the outlet where your computer plug in have electricity on it. You can test it by plugging in electronic devices like electric fan or DVD player. If those devices works, it means there is no problem in electricity.

2. Power chord not tightly plug in. Make sure that the power chord that was plug in the outlet is tight and it is tightly plug in at the back of the computer. This is the common problem that encountered by many computer user. You can plug it out and plug it in again to make sure it is plug in correctly.

Based on my experience, it is the power button switch is faulty or its holder inside the computer case is already broken. You can open up the case of your computer to see if the power button switch is already broken. If the power switch holder is broken you can fix it in any means.

4. Faulty Power Supply Unit. If the power supply is not functioning, the computer won't turn on. There is a way to know if the power supply is working or not. Press the power button then look at the back of computer. See if the fan of power supply spinning or not. If not, the poweer supply is the problem. You have to replace the power supply with the new one..

5. Faulty Motherboard. This is the worst reason why your computer won't turn on. This occur when you press the power button and nothing happen. This is the signs of faulty motherboard. The power supply fan is spinning, no bee sound, the fan of processor is spinning and but still the computer won't turn on.

Error 2711: An internal error has occured

Scenario:
Error 2711 is the error I encountered when I reinstall the Microsoft
Office 2003. During the installation process this error message pop
up. See the picture below.

When I click OK button, the installation process will stop. I wonder
why it happen because everytime I reinstall the Microsoft Office 2003

will help you to solve the problem. During installation process, the
software input registry value. If it finds an error in computer's registry, it will

Reinstall the Microsoft Office 2003.
Yes, that is the only solution I did to fix the problem. You just need Microsoft
Office 2003 installer to reinstall the application. The reason why that happen
is because the Excel 2003 is already corrupted. It could not be the Excel
2003 the corrupted but also the whole Microsoft Office 2003. And the only
solution to fix corrupted application is to reinstall it.Hope this article will help
you to solve the problem that I have encountered. If you have any questions

Cyclic Redundancy Check error. Your computer will auto-
matic restart after finishing the Check disk.

2. Perform Scanpst to scan and fix the pst file.
After the Check disk we will perform Scanpst.exe to
scan and fix the pst file. First we have to lcocate the
Scanpst.exe. Normally you can see this file on the direc-
   tory listed below.

   For Microsoft Office 2007
   C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office12\scanpst.exe
  For Microsoft Office 2003

Fixing duplicate incoming e-mail messages in Outlook 2003

Problem
Two of my network users encounter problem in receiving
e-mail messages. One of them receives 3 duplicate e-mail
from one sender. The other one receives hundreds of
duplicate e-mail from one sender. I check the settings of
their Microsoft Outlook and I notice there are lots of
message rules created for one sender. If there is a duplicate
message rules for one sender, you will also receive duplicate

now receive only one copy of e-mail message from one sender.

Solution
Check if there are duplicate rules and alerts created for
particular sender.

rules. Delete that rules and leave only one for that sender.

3. Close the Rules and Alerts dialog box and click Send/Receive
button to receive new e-mail messages.

This solution works for me everytime I encounter this problem
with in my network. Hope it work on you too.
