Mouse wheel not working

Problem
I install new optical mouse to our one HRD staff to replace her old mouse.
I open up one excel files to test the mouse. I notice that all buttons of mouse
is working except its scroll. I thought the mouse is defective but when I tried
to use it in other computer, its scroll is functioning. It seems like there is
problem on the configuration of mouse on that computer. I tried to check the
configuration and here's all the method I have done.

Solution
1. Click the Windows Logo at the bottom and choose Control Panel.

2. Control Panel will pop up. Click the mouse.

3. Mouse Properties dialog box will appear, click Hardware tab.
    Then click Properties button.

4. Microsoft PS/2 Mouse Properties will appear. On Wheel
detection, choose Assume wheel is present in drop down
    list. Then, press Ok button.

After doing this procedure, open Microsoft Word document and
try the wheel of the mouse if it is working.
